A new job?
My twenty-four day leave is coming to an end. What a pity. Now I feel like getting into a profession where one just roams around and gets paid. Planning to get into the marriage business. But will Rekha agree?
Already started thinking of the errands to run once I get to Chennai. God…save me. Need to get a lunch box too…Rekha has been threat-en-ing me that she would give me lunch when I leave home for office. Sob…Sob..Sob..

Wow! Rekha and I are now proud participants of a revolution initiated by Karl Benz way back in 1885. Yes! We are proud owners of a car – Suzuki Swift. At least, I am proud of it. Rekha had wanted a Mercedes Benz S-Class. As you can see her tastes are so much more better [...]... - Check-mate over the phone
I was innocent. For I thought she loved me. I was obviously (and naturally) thinking like a man. Rekha used to call me at least four to five times during office hours. If I include calls made to remind me to pay the phone bill, drop the Credit card cheque, or book train tickets…it would [...]... - Traffic update from my wife
Wonder if there were traffic policewomen 40 years back. Coz, if they were …I can be sure that in her previous birth Rekha was a traffic policewoman. From the moment she sits on my Yamaha at 8.30 a.m. till the time I drop her (at 8.50 a.m.) at her office, she gives live commentary on [...]... - How I want my wife to be……
I want the girl I am going to marry to be pretty beautiful. Actually…… just beautiful enough to fall for me. Maybe…….she should look pretty only [...]... - Golden rule of marriage remains unbroken
This Friday Rekha read my blog after a long time and as expected wasn’t impressed with the way I had been projecting her to the World. After leaving damaging comments (which I have deleted now) she decided to call me at office. “I would like to discuss our marriage with you,” Rekha roared into the [...]... - How to manipulate a woman
A few weeks back I had written an article titled ‘How to manipulate a man’. That was darn easy…just give him sex, I had advised. But today when I sit down to write on how to manipulate a woman, I know it will be difficult task. I might fail to deliver (expected, isn’t it? On [...]... - When Ram suspected Sita
Sometime back I had written that after Rhea’s birth (my two year old daughter), Rekha (my God-knows how old wife) and I had started fighting for different reasons. If you missed that, you can re-read the blog post here. So, last Friday we fought again – after 2 months. Before leaving office at 8 p.m., [...]... - A Gentleman’s guide to your wife’s sari

If you own a four-chair dining table at home, inviting three friends over for dinner isn’t a great idea. We invited three friends and ended up having a buffet – and being used to buffets, after finishing their dinner they placed Rs 300 each on the dining table and left. OK, I am just kidding. [...]...
