M&M world�s No.1 tractor co by volume
Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) has become the world’s number one tractor company by selling 1.59 lakh tractors in 2009. It has pipped John Deere of the US, which sold 1.59 lakh tractors. “If we take volumes of M&M and Swaraj and don’t include subsidiaries or international operations, we don’t think any single entity could have crossed this mark,” said Anjanikumar Choudhari, president of the farm equipment division at M&M.
