Kinetic launches new scooter Flyte; to sell 75,000 units

Reeling under heavy losses, two-wheeler maker Kinetic Motor Co (KMC) on Friday rolled out its 125 cc gearless scooter Flyte in an attempt to revive fortunes in the 7.8 million unit strong Indian market.

Flyte, which was launched in select North Indian markets two months ago, is the first product to be developed jointly by KMC and its Taiwanese partner Sanyang Motor (SYM). More

Hero Honda`s third unit to commission on time

Bajaj, Renault to decide on low-cost car by Jan end

Bajaj Auto and Renault-Nissan are likely wrap up the ongoing feasibility study and joint venture talks on the ultra low-cost car by the end of January. According to auto industry sources, the talks are progressing and there have been some ‘high-level’ visits from both sides.

“The final decision will come by the end of January,” said a top source. The discussions between Renault-Nissan and Bajaj Auto cover everything from badging, distribution, sourcing to investments, plant sites and engineering decisions. More
