Audi begins production in India



Audi India has commenced production of the Audi A6 at Aurangabad and expects to manufacture 300-400 units of the luxury midsize sedan, intended exclusively for the Indian market, by the end of 2008. It also plans to launch assembly of the Audi A4 later this year.

Leading utility car maker Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) hiked prices in a range of Rs 1,000 to 10,000, reports Business Standard.
The prices have been increased across all its car models except for entry-level sedan Logan.
