Hyundai Motor India Limited inaugurates new dealership in Bangalore

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), inagurated a new dealership in the city taking the count of dealers in the state to 13.

Car makers set to scorch motown with new launches

It’s hot. Last year it almost touched 18. And this year it’s expected to go through the roof. New launches in motown are all set to ignore price hikes and the threat of an impending credit squeeze. With automakers bullish on new rollouts, this year promises to be a blockbuster for car lovers across the country. At the top-end fat cat segment of the automobile business, brands such as, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Lexus, Aston Martin and Maserati might finally make their Indian debut.

SkodaIndia unveils new Fabia 1.2 MPI model

With Fabia establishing itself in the Indian car market, ScodaIndia Friday unveiled yet another version of its popular hatch-back model, Fabia 1.2 petrol version, in three variants - Active, Classic and Ambiente.

This new version has been competitively priced between Rs.486,795 and Rs.580,174 (ex-showroom).

The new Fabia model comes with 1,198 cc petrol engine and with high torque performance (HTP), expected to enhance fuel economy and ensure low emissions. It sports a 1.2 litre engine with 4 valves per cylinder and a double overhead cam (DOHC). Read more
