Demand for cars and two-wheelers seem to have hit the bottom of the barrel with sales sputtering by 20-40% in November. In cars, Maruti, which commands more than half the total market, saw local sales drop by nearly 27% to 47,704 units, compared to 65,216 unit sales in November last year.

Suzuki launches hyper sports bike in India

Japanese two-wheeler major Suzuki on Wednesday launched its two hyper sports bikes , Hayabusa and Intruder M1800R, in India, both priced at Rs 12.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Hayabusa would be powered with a 1,340 cc engine, while Intruder would be available with a 1,783 cc V-twin engine. More
