Mitsubishi plans bigger line-up in next 2 years

The company, which has had a manufacturing collaboration with HM since 1998, and which currently has three models in the market, is also targeting to triple its sales during the next two years from the present 3,000-odd vehicles to about 10,000 units by 2010. Read more

Mitsubishi launches Cedia Select in Jalandhar

CK Birla group company Hindustan Motors on Monday said it would expand dealerships for Mitsubishi products to 45 by the end of this year as part of its plans to shore up sales in India.

Mitsubishi Electric forms venture with Messung, IBM

Mitsubishi?s role would be to supply the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and all other related hardware, IBM will supply the software platform to integrate the factory-automation hardware with the existing ERP of the customer while Messung would be the front-end to install the hardware and the software and maintain the system. DaimlerChrysler to roll out Mitsubishi Fuso trucks here

The world’s largest truck manufacturer, DaimlerChrysler, would be rolling out medium range CVs - trucks and buses - in India from its Mitsubishi Fuso stable.
DCIL managing director and CEO Wilfried Aulbur confirmed that the entry of the Mitsubishi Fuso brand is under consideration. “Currently, our DaimlerChrysler Truck Group has a small presence in the Indian market, through the Actros range of heavy duty trucks from the Mercedes-Benz stable,” he told ET.
