Honda to hike City, Civic prices by up to Rs 10,000

A company official said the rising steel prices and other input costs have put immense pressure, which the company has been trying to absorb.

Honda plans to enter 100 cc segment in 2010

New version of Honda?s Accord to roll out by June

Aimed at catering to the needs of “new age” customers, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) on Monday unveiled ‘Aviator,’ a new premium automatic scooter, with a sale target of one lakh units during 2008-09.
The new product, fourth from the stable of Honda in scooter segment after Activa, Dio and Eterno, is set for a national launch on March six.
Availabe in two variants — standard and deluxe — and in five premium colours, the product would cost Rs 40,283 at ex-showroom price in Chennai, HMSI President and CEO Shinji Aoyama told reporters at the launch function here. Read more

Honda’s natural gas car named as Greenest Vehicle of 2008
Published March 2nd, 2008 in Honda India. 0 CommentsHonda’s Civic GX natural gas car has been named by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy as the greenest vehicle of 2008 for the fifth consecutive year.
According to a report in Environmental News Network, three other Honda vehicles also featured in the top list of the ACEEE.
In the 11th annual ACEEE’s ranking of environmentally responsible vehicles, the natural gas-powered Civic GX ranked first with the gasoline Civic, Fit and Civic Hybrid joining the list of the 12 most environmentally-conscious vehicles available to the public. Read more
