Mission Quit Facebook Addiction

I have realized that I am wasting a lot of my time on Facebook – time that I was otherwise spending pursuing hobbies or with family. Now that the realization has dawned on me, I am trying to wean away from this addiction. Like quitting smoking, this is an attempt. Let us see how I emerge out of it.

I have to see how much Facebook has become part of my life – so no tall promises yet…. have kept a short target for myself: ‘No Facebook till 00.01 am on 18thy May.’

If you do see me online on Facebook, take a print screen and tag me. If you succeed, I will gift you books worth Rs 2000 (this is to force myself to NOT log in).

  1. I once tried staying away from faceboook for a week. And that week was great! I just had so much to do other stuff that I wouldn’t have otherwise kept up with. All the best!

  3. I quit facebook a year ago after using it for a year ….seriously looking back I feel I have done 1000 % more productive work in the previous year than in the year before it

  4. wow congrats naarayan. I have to tell u…have started spending more time with my daughter. Was next to her when she got up in the morning…and wasn’t checking on who had commented on my status on FB!

  5. 🙂 gr8…. i want to quit too… as of now the only thing that I update is my photographs there… no more no less…. want to quit completely… that day too will come….
