The Thunders will get an additional strength in their batting line up as they have signed up Australian skipper Michael in for their team in the Big Bash League.

“Playing for Sydney Thunder is a great opportunity for me to play for a team rooted in Sydney’s western suburbs as well as to support Cricket Australia in building on last year’s Big Bash success,” Clarke said in a press release.

Clarke expressed his opinion on being asked about joining a team which already consists of the likes of Chris Gayle and Shahid Afridi, who had joined Thunders earlier this month. The 32-year old New South Wales batsman is considered to be fitting for the team as he had earlier played grade cricket for Western Suburbs. Read more
