It came as a shocker to many, seeing the mighty Chennai Super Kings falling like a pack of cards against Mumbai Indians, but having qualified for the IPL 6 play-offs the men in yellow would like to go into the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium looking to erase the horrible memories from Sunday.
Chennai have already qualified, but they would want to make things difficult for Sunrisers Hyderabad who are one win away from making it to the final four with seven wins from 11 matches. After winning a low-scoring game against Delhi Daredevils, Hyderabad would look to continue their unbeaten winning streak at home.
Hyderabad’s opening woes has been very well documented. Shikhar Dhawan finally coming in has provided that little substance up the order but Parthiv Patel and Akshath Reddy have been disappointments. The West Indian allrounder Darren Sammy who has been an asset in their lineup is coming off a Man-of-the-match performance in the previous game.
