Glamorgan’s South African-born batsman Chris Cooke has been awarded with a new two-year contract by the club.
The 26-year-old one-day specialist topped the Glamorgan averages in the Clydesdale Bank 40 last season, hitting a best of 137 not out against Somerset.
Glamorgan hope Cooke will replicate that form in the Championship side.
