Murali, Fernando out of ODI series

Muttiah Muralitharan and pacer Dilhara Fernando were ruled out of the ongoing ODI series against India due to finger injuries.

The visiting Sri Lankan cricket team was on Wednesday hit by an injury crisis after Murali injured himself during the Test series and Fernando hurt himself during Tuesday’s opening one-dayer while attempting a return catch from Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Read more
