‘Dew became a huge factor’ – MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni, the India captain, has said dew contributed significantly to his team’s defeat against Sri Lanka in Mirpur and would prefer if the start times of the games were brought forward for the remainder of the tri-series in Bangladesh.

Kumar Sangakkara won the toss for the second time in the tournament and sent India in to bat, preferring to chase in wet evening conditions. India posted 279 for 9, a total which Sri Lanka chased down with five wickets in hand and two overs to spare. Read more
