Strauss’ Bangladesh absence ‘disrespectful’, says Warne
Shane Warne has described England captain Andrew Strauss’s decision to miss his country’s tour of Bangladesh next month as disrespectful.
Alastair Cook will deputise on the six-week trip for Strauss, who claims he is feeling jaded – an excuse which does not wash with Warne.
“It’s a lack of respect for Test cricket,” said the Australia legend.
“It’s disappointing that the captain of England decides to have a rest from a Test series, I can’t comprehend that.”
