Having already scored two half-centuries and a match-saving century in this season, Madhya Pradesh wicketkeeper batsman Naman Ojha wants to build on to the starts that he has got so far for the remainder of the season.
“I wanted to begin my season with good scores and that’s what happened, so I now want to continue the momentum for the remaining season,” Ojha told Cricketnext.
MP were in dire straits in their Ranji Trophy game against Rajasthan on Monday, having trailed the hosts by 123 runs, when Naman Ojha went into bat in the second innings with his opening partner Zafar Ali. And the 29-year-old played one of the best innings of his 12-year first-class career as his unbeaten knock of 102 placed his side in a position from where it would be difficult for them to lose.
