West Indies Women seal series
West Indies Women sealed their T20 series against South Africa Women 2-0 with a six-wicket win in St Lucia. Shemaine Campbelle top-scored with 33 as West Indies chased down their target of 95 with 16 balls to spare.
Although Marizanne Kapp struck with the second ball of the innings to bowl Juliana Nero, South Africa’s total never looked like being enough. Kapp bowled superbly to record figures of 4-2-3-3 but she was not supported by her team-mates and a partnership of 56 for the third wicket between Campbelle and Natasha McLean set West Indies on their way. Both fell to the returning Kapp but that brought in the big-hitting Deandra Dottin to help wrap up a comfortable win. Read more
