Harbhajan Singh, R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja shared the spoils in the second session on Day 4 to rattle the Australian top-order. The visitors were struggling to stay afloat on 128/5 at tea still adrift India’s score by 64 runs. Skipper Clarke on 31 and Moises Henriques on 5 were at the crease.
The turbanator would have been itching to perform on the ‘dust-bowl’ after a shoddy first innings performance. In the second session, Aussies lost 4 wickets to give India huge advantage.
The first to go was Ed Cowan, lbw to Ashwin for a fighting 32 off 97 balls. Jadeja then got into the act with Phil Hughes’ dismissal for a duck. It was a snorter of a delivery that rared up from the rough to give Sehwag an easy catch.Read more
