Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Wednesday gave all-rounder Dean Elgar a place in the Proteas’ Castle Lager squad for the ODI series against England next month, a media release said.

He replaces Jacques Kallis who will be given a well-deserved rest ahead of the ICC World Twenty20 in September.

Apart from Elgar’s inclusion, South Africa have also named Imran Tahir as the lead spinner while Ryan McLaren has been given the role of an additional seamer.Read more
