India beat England by seven wickets to win the second Test on the fifth and final day at Trent Bridge here on Tuesday and so go 1-0 up in the three-match series.

Zaheer Khan says England’s “insulting” behaviour spurred him on as India closed in on winning the second Test.

Despite England’s strong fightback, the Trent Bridge Test always belonged to India and fittingly, they will complete the formalities on Tuesday.
