Nazimuddin stars after bowlers restrict Kenya

A composed 43 from Nazimuddin and a quick 36 from Mohammad Ashraful followed up a good bowling display as Bangladesh coasted to a five-wicket win over Kenya in the second game of the Twenty20 Quadrangular tournament in Nairobi.

Kenya, put in to bat, were restricted to 138 for 7, with Mashrafe Mortaza, Farhad Reza and Abdur Razzak picking two wickets apiece.

In reply, Bangladesh, chasing 139, opened with Nazimuddin, playing his first international game and Tamim Iqbal. Tamim fell soon to Peter Ongondo for 11, but Aftab Ahmed played a belligerent hand at one-down. Read more
