Rains halt India’s charge as England chase 325

Sachin Tendulkar blasted 71 from 59 balls while Yuvraj Singh followed it up with a 57-ball 72 as India reached a massive 324 for six in the fourth one-dayer against England at Headingley on Sunday.

The visitors had scored 286 runs in 47 overs with the loss of four wickets, before rains halted play for a brief period.

England, though, were off to a torrid start as Ajit Agarkar snared the wicket of opener Alistair Cook in the fourth over. The bowler produced another chance the following delivery of Ian Bell, which was put down by Sourav Ganguly at second slip. Read more
