Kaif and Badrinath take India A to 290

India A, riding on half-centuries from captain Mohammad Kaif and Subramaniam Badrinath, overcame a mid-innings collapse to reach 290 in the series decider in Rajkot.

A bright day, complemented by a holiday crowd, greeted the teams for the match, in sharp contrast to the first two ODIs, which were washed out.
