IND vs PAK 2nd Test, Day 1: Jaffer flays Pakistani attack with 192 runs

Opener Wasim Jaffer cracked almost a double century to put India in a strong position in the second Test against Pakistan at Eden Gardens on Friday.

Jaffer made 192 not out, his fifth hundred, as India posted 352-3 in their first innings at stumps on the opening day after electing to bat on a flat track.

Sachin Tendulkar, was on 82, and was knocked out by Danish Kaneria’s googly. Local boy, Sourav ‘dada’ Ganguly came in for the little master amid wild cheers from the local Kolkata crowd. Read more
