Ambrose ton puts Bears in command

England wicket-keeper Tim Ambrose struck his first Championship ton for 12 months on day three at Edgbaston.

Resuming on 46, Ambrose hit a total of 22 fours and shared in century stands with Jonathan Trott, then Neil Carter, who hit Jacques du Toit for two sixes.

Trott, who has now gone 45 innings without a century, edged behind for 82 as Warwickshire declared on 433-8. Read more
