Holders Durham beaten in thriller

Holders Durham fell by just a single run in a dramatic Friends Provident Trophy match against Derbyshire.

Graham Wagg’s one-day best 4-35 and Charl Langeveldt (3-44) reduced them to 196-9, chasing 236 in an innings twice delayed by the setting sun.

Ben Harmison (31no) and Neil Killeen needed 11 off the final over, but the latter was run out off the final ball. Read more
