Indonesian Designers Reveal Styles to Flatter Every Woman in 2013

In just a couple of days, we will all say goodbye to 2012 and welcome the new year.

This year has brought much excitement to the world of fashion with a vibrant palette of bright and lively hues, such as red, magenta and orange, that have been accented with bold patterns and color blocks.

The styles have been very creative, with asymmetric cuts and three-dimensional appliques with bold structures and futuristic looks.

Batik remained a favorite. But tenun , handwoven textiles from West Sumatera, East Kalimantan, North Sulawesi and East Nusa Tenggara, made a huge breakthrough this year and was far and away the most popular motif. Read more
