Creations of Arabic fashion industry at London’s InterContinental

The first ever all Arab fashion event in Europe was staged at London’s InterContinental Hotel in Park Lane on April 6th 2009, under the title: ’Arabian Fashion World’. The one-day fashion showcase was in association with Arab British Chamber of Commerce, Austrian Airlines, and Hia Magazine.

The stunning show featured five acclaimed Arab designers that included: Amina Al Jassim, from Saudi Arabia, Abed Mahfouz from Lebanon, Rabia Z from the United Arab Emirates, Samira Haddouchi from Morocco and Omar Kashoura from Jordan, who is based in the UK.

The Arab fashion industry is a fast emerging global business with highly talented designers such as Elie Saab taking the world stage. The show was produced by top European fashion show producer Lesley Goring and choreographer, Ian Mills with make up by Carol Brown and hair by L’Oreal Professionnel’s international ambassadors Royston Blythe and his partner Nick Malenko.
