Althea Heading To Fashion Week
Althea Harper, 24, the University of Cincinnati DAAP grad, is heading to Fashion Week on “Project Runway.” Althea, who grew up in the Dayton suburb of Oakwood, just squeaked by tonight. The judges were not impressed with her dress, inspired by the architecture of LA’s J. Paul Getty Museum, but they liked her overall designs and sent her into the final round. Only 3 of the 5 finalists tonight (not 4) advanced to Fashion Week for the two-part final, to air the next two Thursdays (10 p.m. Nov. 12 & 19). Althea was the last of the 3 to advance tonight.
Althea had won the challenge last week, and had never been in the bottom 3. But judges tonight were the most critical that they’d ever been of Althea this season. Supermodel/host Heidi Klum said: “Your really disappointed us today. Your look was a mess.” Read more
