Designers honored by fashion group
Project Runway winner Chloe Dao and veteran designer Linda Segal were among the local talents honored Tuesday at the first Night of Stars Gala. Houston’s Fashion Group International staged the event at, of all places, the Junior League.
The headliner flew in from the Big Apple, though: designer and native Houstonian Cesar Galindo showcased the’40s inspired spring 2010 collection he debuted during NY Fashion Week. Galindo was sporting a bit of a tan after his earlier poolside VIP-style show at interior designer Fred Smith’s house. Read more
