Fashion show in support of local dancers
Janine Wood and helpers organized a successful fashion show at Ucluelet’s Black Rock Resort Sunday afternoon with proceeds to support the local Rainforest Dancers.
Local models showed off fashions by local stores — Storm, Ecoeverything, Habit, Tula, Pina, Inner Rhythm, the Co-op, Crow’s Nest, Ukee Baby, and Surf Sister.
Hair and make-up was by Studio One and To Cut and Dye For.
A silent auction with items from Ukee Baby, Black Rock Drift Spa, Gabrielle Springett, Cosmos D’Amour, Solwood, Mermaid Tales Bookshop, and Kelptic Designs raised $400 in addition to the money raised through ticket sales. Read more
