Bailey awarded Designer of 2009
One of Britain’s best-known fashion designers Christopher Bailey was named Designer of the Year 2009 at British Fashion Awards Wednesday night.
Last night’s fashion gala marked a significant year for Bailey, the 38-year-old Yorkshireman. As Burberry’s chief creative director, Christopher Bailey has turned the heritage fashion brand into a global luxury label.
It is the second time Bailey was awarded this title, last time was in 2005.
