The futuristic looking BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9981 is now available in Canada. During the opening of a new Porsche Design store in Yorkville, Toronto, RIM CEO Thorsten Heins and Porsche Design Groups Juergen Gessler appeared to introduce the handset. Priced at $1890, this is not a phone for the masses. That can be determined right away from the choice of materials used to build it. The BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9981 is constructed from forged stainless steel frame, hand-wrapped leather back cover, and offers a sculpted QWERTY keyboard and a crystal touch display.
