MTS is well on its way to carving a space for itself in the Indian smartphone market. It has recently released its fourth Android handset MTag 401, aimed at tech savvy youth with a price tag of Rs. 8,999/- and a host of features.

The MTag 401 is powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm processor and runs on the Gingerbread OS. A 1700 mAh battery supports a RAM of 256MB, an internal memory of 170MB and a ROM of 512MB. A microSD card slot allows users to expand the phones memory to suit their needs. The phone features a 4-inch display with a WVGA resolution of 800×480 pixels. It also sports a 3-megapixel camera.
