Reliance Communications has decided to try its luck once again in the tablet market. While the launch date has not yet been set, the Reliance 3G Tab V9A will bear a Rs 14,500 price tag. A successor to the Reliance 3G Tab, this one will be powered by a 1.4 GHz processor with 512 MB of RAM. Running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), the device will have limited appeal to some users, considering how cheaper tablets with similar specs come with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) out of the box. The device measures 7.6″ (l) x 4.8″ (w) x 0.5″ (12.75 mm) (d), tips the scales at 402 grammes, and comes with 4 GB of internal storage expandable to 32 GB via a microSD card slot. Other specs are as follows:

7″ capacitive, multi-touch (5-point) screen with pixel dimensions of 1024×600.
Phone and video calling via a GSM 3G SIM (GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS 850/900/1900/2100 MHz).
3 mp main and 0.3 mp front camera. Read more
