The new Samsung Galaxy S4, is now available at all Vodafone stores across Malta and Gozo with exclusive discounts on the new Vodafone RED Plans, Vodafone Malta said today.
“The Samsung Galaxy S4 is truly a phone that makes our lives richer, simpler and more fun,” said Karl Galea, Senior Executive from Vodafone Malta. “As Vodafone Malta we’re proud to launch the Samsung Galaxy S4 in Malta. This helps us provide our customers the latest technology accompanied by the best service on the Islands.”
The company said that “the Smartphone features a 1.9 GHz Quad Core processor with a 5-inch Super AMOLED 1080p screen and the Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. T-Mobile USA has unveiled that its Nokia Lumia 521 would be available starting next month (May). The new Windows Phone 8 device will be offered via its own channels, Walmart, and Microsoft Retail stores. Pricing details have not been announced yet, but customers should expect the handset to be cheap.
As you probably already know, the Lumia 521 is exclusive to T-Mobile. Even so, it resembles the Nokia Lumia 520 (which was just released in the UK) a lot, hence it offers: a 4 inch IPS display with 800 x 480 pixels, 4G (HSPA+, not LTE), Nokia Drive, Nokia Music, Cinemagraph, 1.2MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss lens, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1430 mAh battery, and MicroSD card support (up to 64GB).Read more

Nokia Lumia 520, that was recently unveiled in India as the ‘cheapest Windows Phone 8′ mobile, is now available for purchase from Nokia’s official website and other online as well as offline dealers for Rs. 10,499.
Nokia originally showcased the Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The phones were then launched in the Indian market in March. While the Nokia Lumia 520 is now here, as per company’s original statement, the Lumia 720 is expected to be available in mid-April.
Nokia Lumia 520 comes with 4.0-inch WVGA display and is powered by a Snapdragon S4 1GHz dual-core processor alongside 512MB RAM and 8GB internal storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. The phone comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G.Read more

Intex Technologies is planning to add a little more excitement in the low cost quad-core smartphone segment with its Intex Aqua Wonder 2. Intex Aqua Wonder 2 will be launched in India on April 15 and, as per company’s comments to NDTV Gadgets, priced under Rs. 10,000.
Intex had launched its Aqua Wonder (Review) smartphone in February 2013 for Rs. 9,990. Intex Aqua Wonder 2 will be its successor and come with Mediatek MT6589 quad-core processor. The smartphone will run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
Just like its predecessor, Intex Aqua Wonder 2 will sport a 4.5-inch IPS display with a qHD resolution of 540×960 pixels. The other expected features on Intex Aqua Wonder 2 are 512 MB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 1,800mAh battery and 2GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 32GB through a microSD card.Read more

Expanding its Lumia portfolio, Finnish handset maker Nokia Wednesday launched two new mobile phones including a Windows 8 phone priced at Rs 10,500.
Lumia 520, Nokia’s most affordable Windows Phone 8 smartphone, with the same digital camera lenses as on Lumia 920, will be available in the market within a week.
Lumia 720, which has a high-end camera, will be available by Mid-April. The company did not disclose the price of Lumia 720 but said it will be priced at around 249 euro, excluding taxes.
“The launch of Nokia Lumia 720 and Nokia Lumia 520 reflects our commitment to build a winning ecosystem that will enrich people’s mobile experience and help them connect with each other at newer price points,” Nokia Director Smart Devices (India Middle East Africa) Vipul Mehrotra told reporters here.Read more

Sony’s Xperia SP and Xperia L have been priced up ahead of release
Sony’s latest mid-range models, the Xperia SP and Xperia L, have been priced for the European market.
The Xperia SP will costs 419 euros SIM-free, which in the UK is around £359.
This handset features a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chip, 4G LTE connectivity, an 8-megapixel Exmor RS camera with LED flash and a 4.6-inch 1280×720 pixel display powered by Sony’s Mobile Bravia Engine 2 and sporting a pixel density of 319 pixels-per-inch (ppi).
The lower-end model, the Xperia L, is priced at 279 euros (£239) and is equipped with a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, HSPA+ connectivity, the same 8-megapixel camera and a 4.3-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) resolution display at 228ppi.Read more
