There is another Samsung Galaxy Note 3 8.0 news today. And this is not a rumor, in a way. The news comes from the Bluetooth SIG, as the tablet has headed there for the certification. The mobile device has the model number SM-T311, which we have seen in previous rumors.
But the Bluetooth SIG does not mention the device as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 8.0. This name is also not yet official. Although, Bluetooth SIG indicates that we are looking at a Samsung “Mobile Tablet” device here. The certification listing date for the device has been listed as April 26th.Read more

Amid the continuously booming popularity of Google’s flagship Nexus 4, a device still sold out on Google Play Store, numerous owners of the Android Jellybean smartphone are complaining about call quality issues and a strange buzzing noise coming from the device’s earpiece. Looks like the incredibly low-priced superphone isn’t so perfect after all.
Remember the iPhone 4 era wherein uncountable reports about the infamous ‘Grip of Death’ and shattered rear glass covers are scattered all over the tech world? Thankfully, durability issues regarding the LG-made Nexus 4′s glass back cover is not on par with that of the Apple iPhone 4′s but [unfortunately] a growing number of aggravated Nexus 4 owners have caught the attention of numerous technology news sites (including us) due to an annoying buzz or clicking sound generated by the phone’s earpiece. Luckily, loudness of the buzzing/clicking noise is faint enough that it’s only noticeable when you’re near the device. The issue has been starred 69 times so far in Google’s database as reported by Phandroid.Read more

A mystery Samsung device received its Bluetooth SIG certification. The SGH-T779 revealed support for Bluetooth 4.0 which gives us a clue that this is a high-end device. The model number tells us that whatever it is, T-Mobile is the destination. Further digging reveals a tie with the SCH-i705 which is the Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 (7.0) wearing the Verizon brand.
The SGH-T779 number also is connected to the SGH-i497. The LTE bands involved with this device are AT&T flavored and the info associated with that model number suggest a tablet with a screen larger than 7 inches. This could be the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) for AT&T.

At first glance, the Xperia P looks like a compact version of the Xperia S. However, we realised very quickly that it’s much better in terms of build quality and overall aesthetics.
Unlike the larger Xperia S, it has unibody construction with a matte finish rear. The trademark transparent strip at the bottom has capacitive buttons for back, home and menu. This is unlike other Xperia phones where the buttons were actually placed above the transparent strip, leading to confusion in operating the device.
The 4-inch display features Sony’s WhiteMagic technology and Mobile Bravia engine. Sony claims, and we verify that the screen really does have one of the best whites we have seen in a phone and that too with remarkable sharpness across the entire screen. However, there is a flipside — the black levels are no so great. Most of the time, the blacks look more like a shade of dark grey — more apparent while viewing videos and photographs.Read more
