This has to the be the weirdest looking iPhone case to be ever launched. TopKase is launching the Aegis Aluminum case for the iPhone 4 and 4S which looks exactly like the image above. Wondering you will use your iPhone after putting this case on ? The case has a sliding shutter which protects the touchscreen when not in use and it cleans the screen automatically with a concealed microfiber cloth.
The case is made of Anodized aluminum and also packs silicon rubber pads for protection from drops. If you are not a fan of screen protectors like me , this case although pricey is worth considering.Read more

The impending launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 was the single biggest rival device impeding the iPhone, but the 4S still accounted for nearly a fifth of all sales in June. The FT reported that this was down from a quarter at the beginning of March.
The newspaper suggested that anecdotal evidence from network operators also suggested that Apple fans, who are consistently the most loyal among manufacturers, were themselves waiting for a new version of the iOS operating system that is due in the Autumn.
The data from GfK said the S3 model took approximately 18 per cent of the market in its first week in June. It is set to launch in America in the coming days. However, GfK data does not include sales from Apple’s shops or from its website. It also doesn’t include corporate sales for any manufacturer. Read more

LG has formally announced the Optimus L5 with 800 Mhz Qualcomm processor and 4-inch touchscreen display.
LG has formally announced its new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich based handset – Optimus L5. Extending the L-Series smartphones, the new Optimus L5 appears to be a great mid-range device with 4-inch touchscreen display and houses a Qualcomm mobile processor inside it. LG did not announce the price of this smartphone but we expect it to be around Rs 13,000 to Rs 16,000.
LG introduced its new Optimus family smartphones carrying L-Series styling with much fanfare earlier this year. The new Optimus L5 is the mid range device that is slotted between entry-level L3 and high-end L7 smartphones.Read more
