Today the Indian Army killed Sabzar Ahmad Bhat, one of the top operational commanders of Hizbul Mujahedeen, in an encounter in Tral, in Jammu and Kashmir. He was one of the eight terrorists killed by the Indian army in two separate encounters in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sabzar Ahmad Bhat had taken over from Burhan Wani, who was killed in July 2016. I can hazard a guess as to why Sabzar Ahmad Bhat didn’t last even a year – he didn’t get proper KT (also known as Knowledge Transfer) from Burhan Wani. Don’t we all know how difficult it is to get into a project after your predecessor’s notice period is over.
While some Indians are celebrating the killing of these terrorists some are not (those that see them as freedom fighters), one guy is very pissed. The man at heaven’s (or hell’s) gates –

Anyway, coming back to the topic at hand. Did you know that Sabzar Ahmad Bhat loved a girl and wanted to marry her but since the girl’s family refused he joined Hizbul Mujahideen. A true rebel. Huffington post carried this news about Sabzar Ahmad Bhat’s failed love story for the first time here.
This revelation has got the Indian Army worried, for now, they expect Pakistan to sober up and send across different kinds of Pakistani bombs so that youngsters can be enticed and then marriage proposals refused.
While Pakistan is happy that now they will have a strategic shift in their terrorism policy, some Indians aren’t happy. The students at JNU have shared their reaction to Sabzar Ahmad Bhat’s killing. Some have also promised never to propose marriage to a girl or boy to express their solidarity with Sabzar Ahmad Bhat.
It is believed that a lot of Indian intelligentsia is also not in a celebratory mood. Especially the likes of Barkha Dutt, Rana Ayyub, Sagarika Ghose, Nidhi Razdan etc. But who are we to comment.
In all this one thing is clear. The solution to Kashmir problem is love – if Sabzar Ahmad Bhat’s girlfriend had agreed to his proposal, he would today be married with kids. And the poor fellow would be buying milk and vegetables for his house for the next 40 years….and would have stayed away from militancy.

So, would it be fair to say that terrorist Sabzar Ahmad Bhat’s death reveals solution to Kashmir problem?
