I have put in my papers at AIG System Solutions. And will be moving to Satyam Computers by the first half of July. Naturally, we are looking out for a capable, creative and competitive person (wow…that did sound good) to replace me as the Corporate Communications guy here. It is a swell job. Advantages - [...]...
  2. Cartoons
Here is a hobby which began well before marriage and died with it. Yes, I stopped cartooning one month before I got married and am yet to take it up after 26 months. Will try and give it a shot. Till then, you can take a look at some of my previous cartoons. These cartoons [...]...
  3. Heavy weekend
It has been a heavy weekend for me. For fitness freaks a heavy weekend would mean lifting heavy weights at the gym. For the music types…a heavy weekend would mean hours of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Blue Cheer etc. But for me…it just means a weekend when I was not able to sleep [...]...
  4. Love and hate relationships with wives
It has been ages since I updated you on how my married life with Rekha has been progressing. Let me break the streak and come up with a post on how “blissful” the marriage has been. As you are already aware I am not a fan of this institution called Marriage. Perhaps, because of what [...]...
  5. My medical check-up
Those that don’t watch BBC or CNN’s primetime news bulletin are probably not aware that I have quit my Sports Editor’s job at www.sify.com. Not much of a Sports Editor, but still. 8. Beanbags….
In a way beanbags are like chameleons, jesters and liars. Beanbags are very comfortable as furniture. They take the shape you want it to take, and fill in the gaps you leave. A true well-wisher; with no evil intensions. Was wondering if it was this characteristic that made beanbags so popular. Or have I been [...]...

Here is a phone conversation I had recently with my girl friend. No, it wasn’t with Rekha, my wife. My girlfriend: Hi! Me: Hey! My girlfriend: I see a bit of sarcasm in your tone. Me: Sarcasm? Why would I be sarcastic? My girlfriend: How would I know? Ask yourself. Me: But pray tell me, [...]...
  10. When I was the villain – Part 3
That is when I first accepted taking the war to his turf by bringing in weapons of mess destruction. I had picked up the butter knife and fork from the Rekha’s mess that we call kitchen. The sharp negotiators that Rajans are, I only gave up my fork and didn’t reveal the butter knife and [...]...
